It is the objective of this seminar to give practical guidelines on how to use the most commonly applied material formulations in LS-DYNA. Special focus is directed towards the specific input formats of various material models.

This one-day seminar will discuss issues related to the adjustment of material models considering the failure, which can sometimes be relatively complex. The seminar intends to look at the complete picture, reaching from the approach to test design to the actual creation of a material card using LS-DYNA.

The 4a Impetus pendulum test system has been designed to test a great variety of materials using most diverse sample configurations. The information event will include measurements to be carried out at prepared samples. In addition, these tests will be used to generate material cards for LS-DYNA.
