Praxisgerechte Biegesimulation als Vorformoperation für den IHU-Prozess

In contrast to the deep drawing process the Finite-Element-Method is not widely used for investigating or designing a certain bendingline. Due to the complexity of the bending process the user needs to have an understanding which parameters influence the bending results. He has also to know which parameter are feasible to vary for creating a proper bending result. This paper gives a short introduction into the tube bending process. It is shown how a variation of tube preforming can support the hydroforming process.
