DYNAmore is an internationally-operating company and development partner to the automotive companies in the field of simulation and software development. Our main field of activity is to distribute, teach, support, and co-develop the finite element solver LS-DYNA, the pre- and post-processor LS-PrePost and the optimization software LS-OPT.


With more than 130 employees we are one of the first addresses for pilot studies and development projects with respect to the simulation of nonlinear dynamic problems. You will find DYNAmore in Stuttgart, Dresden, Ingolstadt, Berlin, Langlingen, Zurich (CH), Linköping (S), Gothenburg (S), Turin (I), Versailles (F) and Dublin, Ohio (USA).


For our LS-OPT GUI Team (front & back end) in Stuttgart (Germany) or Linköping (Sweden) we are currently looking for a Computer Engineer/Scientist (f/m/x) for the LS-OPT GUI team (front & back end).


The graphical optimization software LS-OPT is used by mechanical engineers for design optimization, design exploration and various stochastic analyses. It is a sister product of the well-known multi-physics simulation software LS-DYNA, which is used extensively in the automotive and engineering industries.

The LS-OPT GUI team is responsible for development of the graphical user interface including pre- and postprocessing technologies and back end technologies such as the API for accessing the result databases from LS-DYNA. Postprocessing technologies can involve technologies in statistical learning and data science.

We are currently looking for a talented and self-motivated developer who is passionate about creating a high-quality product. You will be part of a team of other software engineers, mathematicians, and application engineers at DYNAmore GmbH and LSTC (Livermore Software Technology Corporation). You will work with implementation of new features and enhancements of the pre- and postprocessor GUI and back end technologies such as the API for result databases and optionally also algorithms for statistical learning and data science.

You must be self-motivated, a quick learner, and enjoy working in a team of talented engineers and mathematicians. We expect that you ultimately should be able to work independently, with minimal input and guidance from senior team members. The development is made under Windows and Linux.

Basic requirements

  • Master in Computer Engineering/Science or Mathematics
  • A firm grasp of C++/C
  • An exceptional academic record

The following are considered to favor the applicant

  • Knowledge of Optimization
  • Algorithms for statistical learning/data science
  • Programming experience in C/C++ and Python

Other requirements

The appointee should be willing to travel to California, USA, once a year.
