12th European LS-DYNA Conference 2019: a great success.

200 presentations in 8 parallel sessions, 8 workshops and about 500 participants – impressive figures showing that the European LS-DYNA Conference was again a great success. The Rhein-Mosel-Halle in Koblenz located directly at the river Rhine provided the perfect setting for the conference.

200 presentations in 8 parallel sessions, 8 workshops and about 500 participants – impressive figures showing that the European LS-DYNA Conference was again a great success. The Rhein-Mosel-Halle in Koblenz located directly at the river Rhine provided the perfect setting for the conference.

The fact that the European LS-DYNA Conference is continuously growing in size and popularity is evidenced by the increasing number of participants, speakers, exhibitors and sponsors. For the first time 200 technical presentations were submitted which impressively demonstrated the enormous spectrum of applications of LS-DYNA, LS-OPT and the corresponding CAE process chains.

The popular workshops, in which the participants had the opportunity to discuss specific topics, were also on the agenda again. Another highlight of the conference were the keynote presentations. 12 high-ranking representatives from industry and academia provided interesting insights into their work.

More than 30 exhibitors presented their products and services in the accompanying hardware and software exhibition. Here the conference participants also had the opportunity to discuss current trends and developments and to establish and maintain contacts.

DYNAmore would like to thank all participants who contributed to the success of the conference with their commitment. It is that commitment of the speakers, session chairmen, exhibitors and sponsors that contributes to the success of the conference.

The proceedings of the conference are now available for download at www.dynalook.com. The next conferences are the 16th International LS-DYNA Conference, which will take place from May 31st to June 2nd 2020 in Detroit, USA and the 16th German LS-DYNA Forum from October 7th-9th 2020 in Ulm. DYNAmore is looking forward to numerous submissions and many participants. More information and the Call for Papers will soon be available at www.lstc.com or www.dynamore.de.

About DYNAmore

DYNAmore is dedicated to support engineers in solving nonlinear mechanical as well as multiphysical problems numerically. The product portfolio includes the finite element solver

LS-DYNA, the pre- and post-processor LS-PrePost and the optimization software LS-OPT as well as numerous finite element models needed for crashworthiness simulation. The main field of activity is to sell, teach, support, and co-develop the software LS-DYNA and LS-OPT. In addition, DYNAmore provides engineering services for numerical analysis and integrate simulation software in the CAE environment.

DYNAmore offers training including seminars, workshops, webinars, support and information days as well as LS-DYNA user conferences. More detailed information can also be found on our support and tutorial websites. DYNAmore is one of the first addresses for pilot studies and development projects with respect to the simulation of nonlinear dynamic problems. You will find DYNAmore in Stuttgart, Dresden, Ingolstadt, Berlin, Langlingen, Wolfsburg, Zurich (CH), Linköping (S), Gothenburg (S), Versailles (F), Turin (I) and Dublin, Ohio (USA).
