LS-DYNA Compact: Simulation of thermoplastics

This webinar is aimed at LS-DYNA users who are interested in practical material modeling of non-reinforced thermoplastic polymers.
After a short introduction to the mechanical behaviour of thermoplastics, it is shown which experiments are suitable for the creation of material cards.
The evaluation of material characterisation experiments is discussed and it is shown how material cards can be created. The most important phenomenological material models and their applicability are briefly explained.
