Thermo-mechanisch gekoppelte Prozesssimulation zur gleichzeitigen Warm-/Kaltumformung einer Flanschwelle
A new, highly innovative manufacturing technology is the simultaneous warm and cold forming process of the workpiece with successive hardening process directly in the forming dies. It is developed in the context of the Collaborative Research Centre Transregio 30. Such a high complex forming process, consisting of the inductive heating, the forging process itself and the rapid cooling under pressure in the dies as the press hardening process is simulated with LS-DYNA. Thereby the process of the inductive heating is modelled in a simplified way.
