Introduction to Isogeometric Elements in LS-DYNA

This talk discribes the motivation, definition and history of Isogeometric Elements and Analysis. It explains the transformation from B-splines to NURBS and concludes with two examples "Square Tube Buckling" and "Underbody Cross Member" and gives an outlook of further developments.
