Kunststofffedern unter Langzeitbelastung - Anwendung viskoelastischer Materialmodelle
Viscoelastic effects have a wide influence on the behaviour of long-term loaded components. Considering this characteristic behaviour of polymer materials appropriate material models have to be used in FE-simulations. LS-Dyna provides a 3-parameter creep material model (Mat_115 MAT_UNIFIED_CREEP). The present study roughly outlines the above mentioned material model and visualises the results of various FE-simulations to evaluate the adequacy of the model for the intended use. The material model represents the behaviour of long time loaded components satisfactorily. Certain shortcomings of the model have been found with regard to retardation processes. They can not be modelled sufficiently.
