AUDI AG commissioned DYNAmore to Develop Software for the Integration of Simulation and Test Data

DYNAmore has received an order from Audi AG to develop a system for the integration of simulated and experimental data. This multi-year software project will bring a holistic view of the relevant data in the foreground. An effective and fast representation as well as the comparative assessment of the experimental and simulated data for different model variants are also the key features of the newly developed software system.

This multi-year software project will bring a holistic view of the relevant data to the foreground. An effective and fast representation as well as the comparative assessment of the experimental and simulated data for different model variants are also the key features of the the newly developed software system. A substantial increase in efficiency, both in obtaining the data and in its pre-processing and graphical analysis is expected due to the usage of the CAVIT system. In addition to the integrated visualization of the simulated and experimental data, the automatic evaluation and report generation is also included in the requirements for the planned CAVIT system.

Dr. Werner Schabenberger, overseeing the technical management of the project, explained the project objectives: “The demands in the area of verification and validation of simulation models require a close interaction between simulation and experiment. With CAVIT, an integrated software solution will be in place for data acquisition, visualization and analysis of experimental and simulated data. The quality, accuracy and reliability of our simulations will increase due to a systematic and automated comparison between experiment and simulation. This is necessary to meet the current challenges in the automobile industry."

Dr. Heiner Müllerschön of DYNAmore added: "We are pleased to receive the software development contract for CAVIT from Audi AG. It encourages us to continue to invest in the area of process integration and data management and with this project a team of engineers and computer scientists can be further expanded. The goal is to provide our customers an optimal working environment which generates high quality and realistic results. Simultaneously, these results must be effectively created and reviewed in the shortest possible time. CAVIT is an important building block for achieving this goal.”
